Vapor-Pressures at Several Temperatures-T and Excess Functions at T=298.15 K of (Butanenitrile Plus Propan-1-Ol or Propan-2-Ol)
Vapour pressures of (butanenitrile + propan-1-ol or propan-2-ol) at temperatures T between 278.15 K and 323.15 K were measured by a static method. Excess molar enthalpies and volumes were also measured at T = 298.15 K. Following Barker’s method, the activity coefficients and the excess molar Gibbs free energies were fitted to polynomials of degree 2. Azeotropic mixtures with a minimum boiling temperature were observed over the whole range of temperature. The azeotropic coordinates show a good linear correlation with the temperature.
