Excess Molar Volumes and Apparent Molar Volumes of (Xh(CH2)(V)(O(CH2)(2))3Oh+(1-X)H2O), (V=1,2, and 4), at the Temperature 298.15 K
The excess molar volumes V-E(m) of [xH(CH2)(v) {O(CH2)(2)}3OH + (1 - x)H2O] for v = 1,2, and 4 have been measured using a continuous-dilution dilatometer over the whole mole-fraction range at the temperature 298.15 K. All three mixtures show negative V-m(E). The results were used to estimate the apparent molar volumes of the components. The values of these two properties are discussed in terms of the interactions between the components.
