Excess Isobaric Heat-Capacity, Density, and Speed of Sound of (Xcf(3)CH(2)Oh+(1-X)CH3CN) at the Temperature 308.15 K
Excess isobaric heat capacity C-p,m(E), density rho, and speed of sound u of {xCF(3)CH(2)OH + (1 - x)CH3CN} were measured at the temperature 308.15 K and rho was also measured at T = 288.15K. From the values of rho for two temperatures, the excess thermal expansion factor alpha(E) was estimated to be 4 . 10(-5) K-1 as the maximum value. This value is not negligible for estimation of the isothermal compressibility kappa(T), the isochoric heat capacity C-v,C-m of the mixture from isentropic compressibility kappa(s), and the isobaric excess heat capacity C-p,m(E) using thermodynamic relations. Temperature dependence of excess properties is discussed in relation to the previous results at T = 298.15 K.
