Densities, Speeds of Sound, and Isentropic Compressibilities of Binary and Ternary Mixtures Containing CH3(CH2)(3)Oh, CH3(CH2)(4)CH3, and CH3(CH2)(3)NH2 at a Temperature of 298.15 K
Densities rho and speeds of sound u have been measured for {x(1)CH(3)(CH2)(3)OH + x(2)CH(3)(CH2)(4)CH3 + (1 - x(1) - x(2))CH3(CH2)(3)NH2}, and the corresponding mixtures {xCH(3)(CH2)(3)OH + (1 - x)CH3(CH2)(4)CH3}, {xCH(3)(CH2)(3)OH + (1 - x)CH3(CH2)(3)NH2}, and {xCH(3)(CH2)(4)CH3 + (1 - x)CH3(CH2)(3)NH2}, at T = 298.15 K. Using these results, the isentropic compressibilities kappa(s), the excess isentropic compressibilities kappa(s)(E), and the speed of sound deviations Delta u, have been calculated for both the binary mixtures and the ternary system. Excess isentropic compressibilities and the speed of sound deviations have been fitted with the Redlich-Kister equation in the case of binary mixtures, while Cibulka’s equation was used to fit the values relating to the ternary system.
