Crystallization behaviour of Zr65-x-yTixAlyHf5Cu20Ni10 bulk metallic alloys by in-situ neutron diffraction
Several compounds of the Zr65-x-yTixAlyHf5Cu20Ni10 system were found to be bulk metallic glasses. They have been investigated by DSC, SEM and in-situ neutron diffraction. DSC and neutron studies were performed at the same heating rates in order to follow the evolution of the characteristic temperatures. The first phase appearing at crystallization can be correlated to a quasicrystalline phase.
