Hybrid control used to obtain sinusoidal curve form for the power loss measurement on magnetic materials
In order to achieve comparable results, the measurements of specific total loss must be carried out under agreed conditions, i.e. the form factor of the secondary voltage should not deviate by more than 1% from that of a sinusoidal voltage [1,2]. Today this can usually be achieved by an analogue control [3-5], increasingly also digital controls are being used [6-8]. Both methods offer various advantages but they also have considerable drawbacks. In this paper it is shown that the drawbacks can be reduced by combining the analogue and digital controls, with the advantages of the both, in a way of a hybrid control. In this way, the velocity of the flux density setting and the range of undistorted. flux density are optimized.
