Transport properties of doped manganites in case of degraded magnetic transition
The paper analyzes the differences in magnetic and transport properties of epitaxial manganite films, arising upon a decrease in the film thickness. It is shown that anomalous resistive behavior of the very thin films might result from a degradation of magnetic transition and development of inhomogeneous magnetic state consisting of paramagnetic semiconducting and ferromagnetic metallic regions, coexisting over a wide temperature region. Theoretical calculations performed in the frames of percolation model are shown to well describe main features of the properties of the materials under consideration.
