In this paper recent activities in the shape memory alloy (SMA) industry in China have been reviewed. The consumption and the sale of SMA products have been keeping increasing. Present state of SMA fabrication industry, main products and non-medical and medical applications in China have been briefly induced. The developing strategies for the SMA industry in China have also been proposed.
