The quantitative analysis of composite materials by the Rietveld method with texture correction
New quantitative analysis method of second phase in composite material was developed using Rietveld and WIMV method to correct texture effect of specimen. To verify proposed method a reference specimen which consists of SUS 304(austensit-60 vol%) and SUS 420(martensite-40 vol%) was used. The measured volume fraction of martenstie with neutron and X-ray were in good agreement with that of reference specimen. The volume fraction of martensite of uniaxialy tensioned SUS 304 for engineering strain 50% and the volume fraction of austenite in hot rolled TRIP steel were measured by neutron and X-ray. The measured volume fractions with X-ray were in good agreement with those with neutron.
