Taylor-type simulation of the rolling texture of pure aluminum taking into account the initial texture
A simple and effective method has been proposed to transform initial textures into a series of individual orientations in Euler space. The Taylor-type models were used to simulate the rolling texture of pure aluminum with initial texture. For the full constraint (FC) model, the average method was applied to solve the ambiguity in the selection of the active slip systems. For the relaxed constraint (RC) models, a minimum shear principle has been introduced to solve the ambiguity so that the strain compatibility can be satisfied to the maximum extent. It has been shown that the simulated results obtained by the mixed RC lath and pancake model are closer to the measured than those by the other models.
