Monitoring of primary recrystallization in aluminum alloy by resonance EMAT spectroscopy
Here we present strong empirical evidence that, so long as the temperature of the sample is ascertained by another means, the degree of primary recrystallization in sheets of a strip-cast 5xxx aluminum alloy can be monitored at temperatures ranging from 75degreesF to 750degreesF by resonance EMAT spectroscopy.
