Macroscopic texture and anisotropy in Ti-added IF steels
The macroscopic anisotropy in Ti-added IF steels were investigated. In order to consider the effect of macroscopic texture on macroscopic anisotropy in the steel, predictions of plastic properties for typical texture components in IF steels and Ti added IF steels were carried out using a full-constraints Taylor model and visco-plastic self-consistent (VPSC) polycrystal model. The r-value (width-to-thickness plastic strain ratio in uniaxial tension) and yield stress anisotropy predicted using the VPSC model was in good agreement with experimental data.
