The ceramic lined pipes with high qualities had been produce by gravitational-thermit SHS method. The influence of coating density and heat preservation method on the SHS reaction and mechanical proper-ties of ceramic lined pipes was investigated. It was found that the quality of composite pipe was closely related to the density and heating preservation method.
