Excess molar enthalpies of (hexane, or octane, or decane, or dodecane, or hexadecane, or cyclohexane, or 1-heptene, or 1-heptyne, or 2,2,4-trimethylpentane plus ethyl 1,1-dimethylpropyl ether) at the temperature 298.15 K
Flow-microcalorimetric measurements of excess molar enthalpies H-m(E) at the temperature 298.15 K are reported for [x{CH3(CH2)(4)CH3, or CH3(CH2)(6)CH3, or CH3(CH2)(8)CH3, or CH3(CH2)(10)CH3, or CH3(CH2)(14)CH3, or c-C6C12, or CH3(CH2)(4)CH=CH2, or CH3(CH2)(4)C=CH, or (CH3)(3)CCH2CH(CH3)(2)} + (1 - x)C2H5OC(CH3)(2)C2H5] in order to investigate the interaction between a straight chain hydrocarbon and ethyl 1,1-dimethylpropyl ether. Over the whole composition range all the mixtures, with the exception of (1-heptene or 1-heptyne + ether), are endothermic. The experimental values are correlated by means of UNIQUAC and NRTL models.
