Excess volumes VE measured at the temperature 313.15 K in a dilution dilatometer are reported for (N-methylacetamide + ethanor), and for (N-methylacetamide + ethanol + water). The results have been analysed using various correlation equations and the possibility of predicting the ternary VE values from the binary ones is examined. The results for (N-methylacetamide + ethanol) are compared with previously obtained data for (N-methylacetamide, or N-methylformamide, or N, N-dimethylformamide + water, or methanol, orethanol).
