Investigation on more effective shock wave usage for warhead with HE(I)
Generally a warhead with HE (High explosives) demonstrates the performance for deforming and moving metal plate on it to use the forces acted by shock and gas of explosive's reaction. To utilize these forces more effectively, improving a case of warhead, a shape of part of metal and a material that constitutes it has been mainly studied now. However, in the improvement of only these metal parts, there is a limitation in the cost, and the upswing for a performance of the warhead. We have been certainly studying the parts of metals used in the warhead. Especially we focus about explosives and are studying about the upswing in the performance of the warhead by the improvement of explosives. These studies purpose to obtain the detonation characteristics of explosives, and to compare the result got from the experiment in order to raise the accuracy of a simulation. It aims finally at establishment of the architecture technique of the warhead. In this paper, we will introduce the example of the studying results about the upswing in the performance of the warhead when the shape of detonation shock front and a detonation pressure improve. And we are going to argue by considering these results.
