Experimental study of heat transfer in hot rolling and continuous casting
This paper describes research aimed at obtaining of boundary conditions during for practical applications such as hot rolling, hydraulic descaling and continuous casting. An inverse heat conduction task and experimental methods for measurement of heat transfer coefficient are described. Some experimental results are presented. The paper should give an idea about possible benefit obtained from the experiments for design and control work.
