Adsorption of 1,1,1-Trichloroethane on Two Different-Type Adsorbents
A laboratory study on the adsorption of 1,1,1-trichloroethane on the activated carbon pellet and the microporous carbon fiber was carried out at 298, 323, 348 and 373K. Experimental results show that the adsorption capacity of the microporous carbon fiber is higher than that of activated carbon pellet. It was found that the experimental data of two adsorbents well fitted the Dubinin-Radushkevich(D-R) equation was well fitted by the experimental data of two adsorbents. The parameter of D-R equation was determined for two adsorbents, respectively.
