Surface-Properties of Didodecyldimethylammonium Bromide Adsorbed and Spread at the Water/Air Interface
The treatment of a two-dimensional system of molecules of different molecular sizes, adapted from statistical thermodynamics, is used to derive parameters which can be related to the interaction between molecules of didodecyldimethylammonium bromide (DDAB) and water. The surface behavior of molecules of DDAB adsorbed and spread at the water/air interface is presented.
