Oligomerization of higher alpha-olefins over catalysts containing an F-4SF perfluorinated copolymer
The oligomerization of higher alpha-olefins over a set of heterogeneous mesoporous catalysts has been studied using the example of decene-1. It has been shown that mesoporous catalysts based on the sulfonated, perfluorinated copolymer F-4SF exhibit high activity in oligomerization of decene-1 in both a batch reactor and a flow system: in the former case, the olefin conversion reaches 95-99% with the yield of dimers of 90-95%; in the latter case, the conversion of decene-1 to oligomers exceeds 70%.
