Wheat flour, pine and coal dusts-air mixts. were inetrized by addn. of N-2 to O-2 content 18% by vol. and studied for explosibility. The wheat flour dust showed the highest min. ignition and selfignition temps., the highest allowable surface temp. of machines in the dust, and the lowest max. explosion pressure and max. rate of pressure rise.
