Conversion of ammonia into nitrogen oxides during combustion in a fluidized bed
NH3 was added to PrH combusted with air at 400-950 degrees C in a bubbling fluidized bed (quartz sand) reactor. NH3 was converted mainly to NO during combustion. Small amts. of N2O, NO2 and N-2 as well as CO were also found in the flue gases.
