The effects of annealing on the properties of CdTe/CdS cells with carbon contact!, are studied for CdTe sputtered cells. Both open circuit voltage and short circuit current decrease as the annealing time increases. This degradation is attributed to the diffusion of impurities that exist in the carbon paste. Results obtained from contact resistance measurement and capacitance-voltage measurement at different frequencies for annealed cells confirm this assumption.
