Solubility of disodium cytidine 5'-monophosphate in different binary mixtures from 288.15 K to 313.15 K
The solubility of disodium cytidine 5'-nionophosphate (5'-CMPNa2) in methanol + water and ethanol + water binary mixtures was measured experimentally at the temperatures ranging from 288.15 to 313.15 K. The results showed that the solubility of 5'-CMPNa2 increased with the increasing of temperature and the mole fraction of water in different binary mixtures. The (CNIBS)/Redlich-Kister model and the semi-empirical Apelblat model were applied for the prediction of the experimental data. Both models could give satisfactory simulation results. In addition, the thermodynamic properties of the dissolution process such as Gibbs energy, enthalpy, and entropy were calculated using the van't Hoff equation and the Gibbs equation. The results indicated that the dissolution process was endothermic. (c) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
