Compression behavior of a pressure-sensitive adhesive material

The isotherms of compression strains for poly(2-ethylhexyl acrylate) (PEHA) at seleted temperatures are superposed into a single characteristic curve as a function of dimensionless (P-Po)/Bo, which is the basis of Temperature-Pressure superposition in compression behavior of PEHA. The superposed curve is signified by the temperature insensive pressure coefficient B1 of the bulk modulus for the polymer, where its value is unexpectedly higher than what is known for most of nonpolar organic polymers.
