Rate constants for the gas-phase reactions of (Z)-CF3CH=CHF and (E)-CF3CH=CHF with OH radicals at 253-328 K
Rate constants for the reactions of (Z)-CF3CH=CHF (k(1)) and (E)-CF3CH=CHF (k(2)) with OH radicals assessed by a relative rate method were: (0.911 +/- 0.234) x 10(-12) exp[(114 +/- 70)/T], (1.05 +/- 0.02) x 10(-12) exp[-(118 +/- 10)/T] at 253-328K; and (1.37 +/- 0.04) x 10(-12), (0.699 +/- 0.043) x 10(-12) at 298K cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1). The atmospheric lifetimes were determined as similar to 8.4 and 17 days, respectively. GWPs for the 100 year time horizon were estimated to be 3 and 7, respectively. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V.
