Highly Efficient Water Oxidation on Rutile Titanium(IV) Oxide Powder in the Presence of Iodate Ions as Reversible Electron Acceptors
A high apparent quantum yield (AQY) of 25 +/- 1% (at 365 nm) for water oxidation in the presence of iodate ions was achieved using a rutile titanium(IV) oxide that has relatively low density of surface defects.
