Preparation technology of phase change perlite and performance research of phase change and temperature control mortar
Dual low communion fatty acids phase-change materials with lauric acid and myristic acid were prepared. Through the vacuum absorption in high temperature, the phase change aggregate was prepared using the expanded perlite as an inorganic carrier, and the phase change aggregate was encapsulated with appropriate encapsulations and content. The cross section of phase change aggregate was observed through field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It was clear that fatty acids were absorbed into the porous particle inside and adhered to the wall of perlite pore, and the fatty acids were steadily existed in the space encircled by paraffin and expanded perlite inside wall. The phase change temperature control mortar was prepared by the phase change aggregate and the physical mechanical properties and thermal performance of the phase change mortar was studied. The results showed that the physical and mechanical properties of the phase change mortar met the requirements of standards of building insulation mortar, and the temperature controlling effects of the phase change mortar was proper. With the increasing of phase change materials added into the mortar, the effective heat value decreased, the temperature delay time prolonged and the cooling extent became greater.
