There is limited literature available describing the behaviour in the time domain of equivalent circuits more complicated than the one consisting of a parallel resistance-capacitor combination. it is the aim of this communication to present an approach to the calculation of the response in the time domain of any type of equivalent circuit, provided that its response in the frequency domain is previously known.
