New electroactive metal oxides electrodeposited from selected Keggin and Dawson-type heteropolyanions
It is demonstrated that composite films of new electroactive metal oxides can be electrodeposited on electrode surfaces in very mild conditions. The starting species chosen here are molybdenum-substituted tungsten frameworks and fully molybdic compounds. The results give new insights into electrode modification processes by oxometalates, already known for their numerous and efficient catalytic properties.
