Origin of the effect of ion nature on the differential capacity of an interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions
It is shown that the experimentally observed effect of ion nature on the capacity of the interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions can be linked to periodic mechano-electric perturbations of the interfacial region during the ac impedance measurements rather than to the specific ion adsorption.
