Heat transfer and hydraulic resistance of supercritical pressure coolants. Part IV: Problems of generalized heat transfer description, methods of predicting deteriorated heat transfer; empirical correlations; deteriorated heat transfer enhancement; dissolved gas effects
The review and analysis of existed recommendations for predicting the conditions, when a cumulative effect of the factors that lead to heat transfer deterioration becomes significant, and determining the boundaries of normal heat transfer are presented. The correlations for calculating deteriorated heat transfer are given. Some ways of deteriorated heat transfer improvement that were tested in practice are offered. The specific of SCP coolants heat transfer at the presence of significant amount of dissolved gases is described. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
