Electrochemical characteristics of the microhole ITIES
A simplified theory for the faradaic impedance of the microhole ITIES is derived both at the equilibrium and at the formal potentials. The diffusion impedance cannot be expressed in terms of known circuit elements, but a deceptive similarity to the Gerischer impedance or the diffusion impedance of a confined region is noted. Steady-state current-voltage characteristics are also briefly discussed.
