Isolation and Identification of a Cyclopropanecarboxylate-Utilizing Bacterium

A new strain capable of utilizing cyclopropanecarboxylate as sole source of carbon and energy was isolated from soil. This isolate was identified as Rhodococcus rhodochrous through analysis of its bacteriological, chemotaxonomical and physiological characteristics.
