Chemical-biological evaluation of foragers mineral supplements
Eight horses were feeded with a fooder with an increased concn. of minerals and vitamins. An increase in Mg, Ca, Zn and Se content and a decrease in Si and S content in hair was obsd. In the blood serum, an increased concn. of Cu and Zn and a decreased concn. of P Fe and Ca was evidenced. A correlation between the elements was noted more for the content of elements in hair than in blood. The method for hair anal. was more efficient than the blood anal.
