Cationic bituminous emulsions. Properties of recovered and stabilized binders
A corn. bitumen and 2 binders recovered from corn. bitumen emulsions by evapn. and optional stabilization were studied for penetration, softening and brittle temps., elastic recovery and cohesion by std. methods. The recovered binders showed lower penetration and higher softening temp. than the origin bitumens.
