Diglycerol was added to a corm aq. flexographic printing ink to study its properties (contact angle) and properties of the prints (optical d., color values, gloss, dry and wet rub resistance). The addn. of diglycerol to the ink resulted in an improvement in wettability of the polyethylene film and in slightly increase in the wet and dry rub resistance of the overprint.
