Studies on compression strength of photoreactive composite fillings cured with visible light
Oligomeric 2,2-bis[4(2-hydroxy-3-methacrylglyceril)phenol] Bis-GMA, an urethane dimethacrylate, a multifunctional acrylat, camphoroquinone photoinitiator and Et 4-dimetylaminobenzoate co-initiator were compounded and cured by using visible light from a light-emitting diode. Hydroxyapatite was used as a filler. The photoreactive dental composites were studied for compression strength by a std. method. The composites were as good as com. ones.
