Seven corn. oxide pigments were studied for corrosion resistance in aq. soins. of H2SO4 or NaOH by colorimetty, thermogravimeby, X-ray diffraction, chem. anal, and adsorption of methylene blue. Some changes in color and chem. compn. of the pigments were obsd. esp. in the case of Zn-contg. pigments.
