Transient oscillations in a Lure system are studied using the dynamic harmonic balance (DHB) principle. The DHB, recently proposed in the literature, is extended in the paper to the systems that include delays. An example illustrating application of DHB to analysis is given. (C) 2015 Elsevier Ltd.
