Autothermicity, multiplicity, yield and selectivity of catalytic processes in a polytropic fluidized bed reactor
The work covers some basic issues related to stationary properties of a catalytic fluidized bed reactor. A bubbling bed model has been employed for the quantitative description of a catalyst. Autothermicity, yield and selectivity of catalytic processes described by three selected kinetic models have been discussed in terms of multiplicity and stability of steady states. The steady states structure has been illustrated graphically in selected planes of the model parameters by means of two-parameter bifurcation diagrams.
