Infrared spectra of thin CO2 crystal at 7-77 K: the band shape in the nu(3) (CO2)-C-13 absorption region
The IR spectra of reflection from a mirror covered with thin CO2 crystal layers are obtained in the temperature interval T=7-77 K. The spectra in the v(3) and v(2) regions of the (CO2)-C-12 and (CO2)-C-13 molecules and their dependence on temperature and the layer thickness are discussed. The complex shape of the v(3) band in the region of (CO2)-C-13 absorption is explained by the resonance dipole-dipole interaction between two (CO2)-C-13 molecules located in the first or second coordination sphere of each other in the regular crystal.
