Dynamic DSC Analysis for the Polymerization of an Unsaturated Polyester/Styrene system
The heats of reactien for an unsaturated polyester/styrene system was obtained by scanning the samples different heating rates with differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). The dynamic data analyzed using simple and precise Kissinger expressions have given various kinetic parameters characterizing the curing process of resins. The different values of activation energy reflected the different reaction mechanism occurred in the curing course simultaneously.
