To evaluate the extent of thermal-oxidation deterioration of Polymeric insulating material in the electric power distribution cable, OIT and OMT were measured from DSC thermograms at various oxydizing temperature. By using Eyring equation and OMT data, the operating condition of cable insulation was wet evaluated.
