Reaction Mechanism and Kinetics of Methanol Produced to Dimethyl Ether
Dimethyl ether can be obtained by using methanol as a feedstock and CNM-3 and MgO/HZSM-5 as feedstock. The effects of loading of active components on methanol produced to DME are mainly discussed. The experimental results indicate that it does not affect too much to the skeleton structure of HZSM-5 molecular sieve with adding MgO. When reaction temperature, ratio of methanol and ethanol, and weight hourly space velocity are between 200 and 300 degrees C, 3:1, and 4 h(-1), the reaction equation of the kinetics model is (-r(A)) -0.385e -16650/8.314TC(A). Its activation energy and pre-exponential factor are 16.650 KJ/mol and 0.385 s(-1), respectively.
