The Effects of Gas-wetting on the Electrical Properties of Condensate Gas Reservoir Cores
The productivity of the condensate gas reservoir could be enhanced significantly with the gas-wetting reversal method. However, changes in the wettability have been shown to affect electrical properties of the core. With the gas-wetting realized on the artificial cores by the reversal agent FC-1, core resistivity change with wettability and gas saturation have been studied in this article. The conductive paths of water-wetting core and gas-wetting core are similar when the gas saturation is low but different when the gas saturation is high.
