Potential environmental impacts associated with a bevverage can system have been assessed using life cycle assessment(LCA). It is found out that global warming effect is the most dominant environmental impact which can be caused by the present system, mainly due to the manufacturing processes and the packaging processes. The second dominant potential impact is acidification effect cased by the emission of HCl from the can manufacturing processes.
