Brown coloring of glaze was by mixing three kinds of zircon based pigments. The zircon based pigments used by opacifier in the inorganic pigment have chemical and thermal stabilities in comparison with other pigments. Purple pigments were synthesized by using ZrO2 and MnCO2. The influence of the type of glaze, Fe-zircon and V-zircon pigments on the color was analyzed spectroscopically.
