Synthesis of 1,3-Dioxolane Derivatives as Antifungal Agents and Evaluation of their Biological Activity
In an effort the synthesis of new antifungal agent, We have synthesized two new cis-1- (N-cycloalkylcarbamoyl)-4-[4-[[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-(1H-imidazol-1-yl- methyl)-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl]methoxy]phenyl]piperazine derivatives (R=cyclopropyl, cyclohexyl)were synthesized by the reaction of cis-4-[4-[[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-(1H-imidagol-1-yl-methyl)-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl]methoxy]phenyl]piperazine with N-cyc-loalkylcarbamoyl substituted derivatives and their in vitro antifungal activities will be presented.
