Preparation and surface properties of fluorinated core-shell latex particles
We describe the preparation and characterization of core-shell latex particles containing a fluorinated polymer in the shell. The structured particles were prepared via two-step semi-continuous emulsion polymerization under kinetically controlled conditions. In order to characterize the surface properties of latex films of the core-shell particles, the contact angle measurement and sliding angle for water and n-dodecane were carried out.
